At Buzzcloud, you will play a key role in helping our customers migrate workloads to AWS and modernize their platforms.
Work assignment
- Migrate and modernize workloads to AWS
Work as part of a team to plan and execute migration projects, including workload assessment, re-platforming, and re-architecting applications for AWS. This often involves containerization (ECS/Fargate, Docker), refactoring legacy systems, and adopting cloud-native patterns such as microservices and serverless to improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Manage and maintain Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, and hosted build agents
Ensure the reliability and scalability of CI/CD tools that support both migration and modernization efforts. Continuously improve pipelines to enable faster, more secure, and automated delivery.
- Ensure automation and best practices across build, test, and deployment pipelines
Drive automation across the entire lifecycle—from infrastructure provisioning and testing to monitoring and deployment. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (CDK/CloudFormation), enforce testing strategies (unit, integration, and data testing), and promote DevOps best practices to ensure smooth migrations with minimal downtime.
Required competence
- Strong background in automation, configuration management, CI/CD, and monitoring
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services, particularly in migration and modernization projects
- Solid experience with CI/CD and build infrastructure (Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory)
- Git experience (GitLab preferred)
- Scripting abilities (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and tooling
- Proven track record in application automation and testing (unit testing, data testing, integration testing, etc.)
- Experience working in migration projects, including re-platforming and re-architecting applications
- Fluency in Swedish
- Swedish citizen, preferably living in the Stockholm area.
Valuable competence
- Experience with AWS CDK
- Experience with CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Hands-on experience with ECS/Fargate, Docker, and containerized microservice architectures
- Background as a developer, with Java experience valued
- Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting
- Exposure to serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge) and other modernization services
